Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1st, 2025

By booking a service with Kate Makeup Artistry, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions:

1. Booking & Payment

• A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your appointment. The remaining balance is due four weeks before the day of service.

• Payments are accepted via check and cash at this time.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellations made less than 6 months before the appointment: 2nd payment will be required to compensate.

• Rescheduling is allowed 8 months before the appointment, subject to availability and at Kate Makeup Artistry’s discretion.

3. Travel Fees

• A flat rate fee of $50 applies for any on-site services as well as $1/mile from the zip code 29715. Additional fees may apply for early morning bookings or long-distance travel such as hotel stays and parking.

4. Allergies & Liability

• Clients must inform us of any allergies or skin sensitivities before the appointment.

• We are not liable for any reactions caused by makeup products used during the service.

5. Satisfaction Policy

• Due to the nature of makeup application, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued once a service is completed.

6. Photography & Social Media

• We may take photos of completed makeup applications for portfolio and social media purposes. If you prefer not to be photographed, please let us know in advance.

7. Right to Refuse Service

• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for reasons including but not limited to hygiene concerns, inappropriate behavior, or late arrivals beyond 30 minutes.

8. Agreement

By booking a service, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these terms.
