How long have you been doing makeup?

I have been a makeup artist for over 10 years now! I started freelancing back in 2012.

Do you travel?

Yes, I travel anywhere within two hours (give or take) from where I am located in Lancaster, PA. There is a travel fee depending on location.

How long does it take to do makeup?

On the wedding day I give myself 40 minute per client and 45-50 minutes with the bride.

What is the difference between traditional and airbrush makeup?

Airbrush foundation is sprayed onto the skin for a completely flawless finish. This is definitely my bride’s top choice. It is completely waterproof and feels super lightweight on the skin. However, I work very hard to make traditional liquid foundation look perfect and be waterproof! If you look at my pictures you probably can’t even tell the difference!

What makeup brands do you use? Are they waterproof?

I use a wide variety of products. I find what works best and what I love the most and that’s what I use! 90% of my kit is either professional or luxury brands such as NARS, Dior, Charlotte Tilbury, Patrick Ta, etc. But don’t knock the cheaper stuff! Brands like Maybelline, NYX & Morphe have some amazing products too! Everything I use is also waterproof.

Do you require a trial?

I do not. HOWEVER, I highly recommend that my bride’s have a trial. It helps both of us get to know one another, helps me get to know your face and skin before such an important day; it usually eases your nerves and the best part — it helps the actual wedding day go SUPER smooth and fast!

Do you have any minimum requirements to book with you?

I have a four person minimum (not including flower girl / Jr bridesmaid makeup) to take a wedding. Have less than that? Still contact me! Depending on the day of your wedding or how booked I am I may be able to make an exception!

We’re getting ready so early, will it last all day?

YES! This is the perk of hiring a professional. We know tricks and products to make the look last from morning till night. I always love seeing end of the evening pictures of my clients — they still look amazing! I also do quick touch ups of everyone at the end of your wedding services before I leave.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. I am a licensed Esthetician and I have liability insurance that covers me as a freelance artist.

Can you get everyone done in time by yourself?

This depends on a lot of factors! Most weddings I do on my own. I can usually take 7/8 girls within the time frame. What time will the venue allow us to enter and start? Are you doing a first look? When do you need to be ready by? Is that end time for everyone or just the bride? These are all factors to consider and will affect whether I need to bring on someone else. Additional artist fee is $150 + travel.

Can I schedule a trial before booking with you?

No, I only allow trial runs for brides / bridal party members that are already booked with me. I try and post lots of pictures, most unedited, so that you have a good idea of what to expect! I work very hard at the trial to take my time with you, ask lots of questions to get you a look you love. :) We can also do a phone or video consult where you can ask me any question or address any concern you may have before booking!
